How eventful was 2006? This is my December in a nutshell.
See, I wanted to spend 06/07 at this really cool chillout place with my bestest friend in the entire universe and Kenny of course. But those cunning people decided to charge a really ridiculous price of $48+++ for only 2 housepours so guess where did we usher in the new year?
In the car. And of all times, I had to have my bitchfit there and then. No alcohol, no celebration. All we had was horrible r&b in the car.
*Swan, I'm sorry you had to spend new years' sans Mister Toh and also having to hear me scream in the car. I'm really really sorry. Thank goodness my afternoon was still rather chill and cool bananas.
Bimmer/Beemer. I can never get the spelling of his name right. And of course, Debbie. (I really love my neighbourhood cos the girls are really, just a bicycle ride away) We have shared countless bitching sessions since we were 13; From how life sucked in stc and how we really should be in a cooler school like mgs.. But upon looking back, I'd never want to trade my secondary school life for anything else in the world.
And the new addition to the family, Cooper. He's such a smart little puppy!
Uh Deb, I think we should stop shunning the camera lens.
And how can I exclude my favourite baby girl, who really isn't that much of a baby anymore.. She's such a obliging sweetheart (when in a good mood) and would help you throw the rubbish, whose vocabulary beats any 2.5 year old kid I've met and rather you bite her cheeks than to say 'please'.
She's bossy like me, loves to make my sister re-enact the scene in Cinderalla where she runs and drops her glass slipper, makes us read Lady and the Tramp over and over again and is able to remember the lines in Little Mermaid. She's only twoandahalf, mind you.
I thought the matching teeshirts were kinda cute. Haha!
And lastly, to my girls who'd never refuse a picture with me.
Summer is short, and soon we'll say our goodbyes and be on our way.
Lyn, if I don't see you again before you fly off, please take good care of yourself and study hard!
Deb, 6 months isn't that long. You'll be back in no time and then, we can have a longer meetup although interstate phonecalls aren't all that expensive. I'll miss you.
I hope the upcoming semester would be a better one than the last. I'm thinking Siao, FAMOUS, dvd marathon, the beach, BBQ, cheese and wine tasting, cool shopping districts, baking, spying on the neighbours, cleaning up the pond, hanging out with Ellie, receiving parcels (I'm sure Daph would make that happen), less Tiamo, more Lambretta, no more BBQ chicken fried rice please, more Ipoh Wat Tan Hor.
